Job summary

Coca-Cola Beverages Florida is seeking a Communications Manager based at our Tampa HQ. The role leads internal communications, manages intranet and website content, and oversees social media messaging in partnership with Leadership and Marketing.

The manager will measure program effectiveness, craft features, edit and copywrite, serve as advisor to the leadership team on communications, and coordinate crisis communications. Strong media relations and project management skills are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in a communications/media relations capacity.
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, Public Relations, English, or related field.
• Ability to build and manage relationships with the media and key external stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and project management skills.
• Experience in corporate communications for a mid-to large size competitive business.
• Experience with developing and planning a social media strategy.
• Expertise in multiple social media platforms; articulate trends and make recommendations relating to all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Proofing skills.

• Actively engage in activities to build and maintain a positive visual identity for Coke Florida.
• Strategically plan internal communications including crafting and obtaining approvals.
• Liaise with Marketing on promoting opportunities for Coke Florida.
