Job summary

As a Project Management Office Intern, you'll collaborate withbusiness leaders, IT teams, and healthcare vendors while developingvaluable skills in project coordination, data analysis, and processimprovement. Major/Essential Functions
  • Support Project Management Office (PMO) activities by trackingproject milestones, action items, risks, issues, and deliverablesrelated to healthcare IT and revenue cycle initiatives.
  • Assist with planning, coordination, and documentation ofproject activities associated with EDI conversion to Waystar andrelated claims processing workflows.
  • Coordinate communications, meetings, and follow-up activitiesamong internal stakeholders, business teams, information technologyresources, and external vendors, including Optum.
  • Collect, organize, analyze, and maintain project documentation,operational data, status reports, testing results, and otherproject artifacts to support project decision-making andimplementation efforts.
  • Develop knowledge of healthcare operations, revenue cycleprocesses, project management methodologies, and healthcaretechnology systems while contributing to assigned project tasks anddepartmental objectives.
