Uber Freight in Chicago seeks an Intermodal Pricing professional to provide real-time spot pricing for Enterprise, Mid-Market and SMB customers, coordinating with Pricing, Operations and Account Management to maximize win rate and profit.

The role involves reviewing RFP pricing, guiding coverage of awarded volumes, and maintaining market awareness to drive informed pricing decisions and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in intermodal pricing or pricing roles.
• Experience communicating with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Submit real-time spot market pricing to intermodal Enterprise, Mid-Market and SMB customers through web portals and other forms of communication.
• Review contractual (RFP) pricing to inform price points and bid strategy to grow volume.
• Guide the coverage/service of awarded spot volume when necessary.
• Maintain awareness of US freight market conditions and advise team on changes and trends.
• Develop direct relationships to grow Uber Freight accounts.
• Use internal and external pricing tools and databases to guide pricing decisions.
• Expand customer knowledge by learning networks, price points, opportunities, and timely communication.
• Leverage data and analytics to drive informed decisions and evolve strategy.
• Take calculated risks to uncover growth areas.
