Job summary

REMPREX in Cicero, IL is seeking a hands-on technician to support intermodal gate transactions, maintenance, and repair at our Cicero terminal, using AGS equipment in a fast-paced outdoor environment. You will need a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and basic networking and Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR.
• Basic networking knowledge and MS Office proficiency.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather and adapt to busy conditions.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced intermodal environment.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on AGS equipment and its components (Training provided).
• Proactively report on system specs, operations, and site performance.
• Explain site health information and provide technical insight on repairs to management.
• Help test new-generation AGS components and provide reliability reports.
• Help install/commission AGS equipment on site as required.
• Accurately process gate transactions and enter data for each unit entering/exiting the terminal.
