Job summary

REMPREX seeks a Gate Service Representative to support intermodal gate transactions and AGS maintenance at our Elwood terminal. You will troubleshoot, repair, and optimize gate systems while handling data entry for each unit.

This night-shift role requires attention to detail, a clean driving record, and strong problem-solving skills. The position is on-site with rotating 10-hour shifts and potential schedule variability.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with clean MVR.
• Strong attention to detail and professionalism.
• Ability to learn and adapt in a 24/7 operation.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic computer equipment.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and maintain Automated Gating System (AGS) equipment.
• Survey and troubleshoot system health and performance.
• Report on system specs, operations, and inventory needs.
• Explain health information and provide technical insight to management.
• Test new AGS components and prepare reliability reports.
• Assist with installation and commissioning of AGS equipment on site.
• Process gate transactions accurately using office or handheld devices.
• Maintain a clean client work environment in REMPREX facilities.
