Job summary

MEDLOG USA in New Orleans seeks an Intermodal Customer Service Representative to process orders in our Transportation Management System and relay details to customers and dispatch. You will be the first point of contact for inquiries, handling a high volume of emails and calls with strong communication, time management, and a positive attitude.

Schedule Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4pm, requiring a high school diploma and 1-3 years of customer service experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years' experience in customer service; intermodal industry preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook as well as overall computer skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Self-motivated, detail oriented, and ability to prioritize.

Responsibilities

• Analyze late and at-risk deliveries and propose resolutions to meet customer expectations.
• Monitor and track loads; notify customers of delays and changes.
• Perform general administrative and clerical duties, maintain records.
• Create TMS templates for customer orders.
• Process orders and relay details to dispatch.
• Trace orders to provide updates throughout the day.
• Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate emergency moves with dispatch.
• Build relationships with customers through open communication.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Schedule: Mon–Fri, 7:30am–4pm.
