Job summary

BELFOR and BELFOR Franchise Group seek an Intermediate Carpenter to support reconstruction efforts, work with minimal supervision, and help develop scope with estimators. You will operate autonomously on varied projects and contribute to a team of skilled tradespeople.

This role targets residential, commercial, and multi-family settings, with progression along the Progressive Carpenter track. Night/weekend work and occasional travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• Extensive carpentry experience with ability to work with little supervision.
• Experience supervising basic BELFOR crews or subcontractors.
• Comfort with residential, commercial, and multi-family projects.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential problems early and request guidance when needed.
• Move and protect contents without damage during work.
• Construct containment for dust and debris according to BELFOR methods.
• Use tools for floodcutting, salvaging, and labeling baseboards and cabinets.
• Attend training and complete projects including shrink wrap.
• Meet BELFOR standards for safeguarding property and maintain attention to detail.
• Work nights and weekends as required and travel periodically.
