Job summary

BELFOR is seeking an Intermediate Carpenter to support reconstruction efforts and manage projects with minimal supervision. The role covers residential, commercial, and multi-family projects, focusing on framing, cabinetry, and trim, with travel and after-hours work as required.

The candidate will assist with scope development with BELFOR Estimators, develop junior carpenters, and meet BELFOR standards for safeguarding property while delivering timely results.

Qualifications

• Extensive carpentry experience and ability to work with little supervision.
• Experience in developing scope with estimators and running projects autonomously.
• Ability to train and guide basic level carpenters.
• Willingness to travel as required and perform emergency services as needed.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential problems and seek guidance when needed.
• Answer questions and escalate complex issues to the appropriate resource.
• Move and protect contents without damage and maintain site safety.
• Construct containment for dust, dirt, and contaminants and perform trim, cabinetry, and framing tasks.
• Attend training and complete projects to BELFOR standards.
