Job summary

BELFOR Holdings Inc. is seeking an Intermediate Carpenter to provide operational support in reconstruction efforts, leveraging extensive carpentry experience and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

This role involves developing scope with estimators and advancing from residential to commercial/multi-family projects, including emergency services and self-performing tasks. The position is level 3 in the Progressive Carpenter track, requiring leadership, safety awareness, and a commitment

Qualifications

• Extensive carpentry experience with residential to commercial scale work.
• Supervise unskilled labor and coordinate with crews and sub-contractors as needed.
• Strong customer service principles and safeguarding others' property during projects.

Responsibilities

• Recognize potential problems and request guidance as needed.
• Move and protect contents without damage.
• Construct containment for dust, dirt and contaminants.
• Perform tasks related to framing, trimming, cabinets, insulation, and exterior siding using BELFOR methods.
• Attend and complete training and projects including shrink wrap.
• Meet BELFOR standards for safety and property protection.
• Work nights/weekends and travel as required.
