Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience working in a library is required.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• Bachelor's Degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily workflows and procedures related to the interlibrary loan Borrowing queue including processing borrowed items, determining loan and licensing policies, preparing and tracking shipments, preparing invoices, reporting database and cataloging problems
• Process Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery requests from Georgia Southern University faculty, staff, and students, and from external domestic and international libraries, including identifying, retrieving, scanning, and delivering library materials
• Provide welcoming, courteous, and actively engaged customer service, including greeting and communicating with faculty, staff, students, and community patrons in person, or by phone, email, or online chat, to identify and address their service needs
• Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate staff and/or student workers as needed
• Provide staffing support to the Access Services desk
• Cover additional interlibrary loan duties in absence of the ILL librarian or fellow staff
