Job summary

Indiana University Bloomington Libraries seek a team-oriented staff member to support interlibrary loan and document delivery services. You will process requests, verify holdings, and coordinate with providers to obtain materials for IU students, faculty, staff, and researchers on campus and off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Some experience in library or related field.
• OCLC and ILLiad experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience, including hiring, scheduling, training, and evaluating.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient, timely ILL/document delivery services to IU students, faculty, staff, and researchers on campus and off.
• Verify items requested and held on the Bloomington campus and elsewhere.
• Select providers for materials not held on campus and send requests via OCLC, email, web page, or US mail.
• Process and notify requestors of documents received; advise users of status or problems; supervise student assistants daily.
• Responsible for a specific function of the DDS/ILL service and assist in other areas when needed.
