Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle in New York, NY is seeking a Construction Project Coordinator to support the delivery of challenging corporate interiors projects for a financial services client. You will facilitate communication among teams, maintain project documentation, and help manage budgets and contracts.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 5+ years of construction or accounting experience, and strong written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management (PREFERRED)
• 5+ years practical experience in construction or accounting (REQUIRED)
• Strong verbal & written communication skills (REQUIRED)
• Familiarity with GMP contracts and other construction contracts (PREFERRED)

Responsibilities

• Facilitate effective communication between team members, project stakeholders and vendors.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, financial reports, and progress updates.
• Process and record daily financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records.
• Work with Accounting team, communicating with vendors and clients, liaising between Accounting and Design/Construction teams.
• Review and process project budgets, vendor proposals/bids, change orders, and invoices within PMWeb or other systems.
• Ensure adherence to vendor agreements as it relates to contracts, affidavits & lien waivers.
