La-Z-Boy Incorporated is seeking an Interior Designer to translate client needs into actionable design concepts and lead in-home consultations. You will support the sales team with design expertise, present customized portfolios, and drive design-driven sales across our La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries locations.

The role emphasizes client-focused service, collaboration with sales managers, and maintaining brand standards while delivering high-quality spaces.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 2–3 years in sales or interior design, residential emphasis.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, CAD programs; strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Promote the La-Z-Boy In-Home Design program and present customized portfolios to meet client requirements and sales goals.
• Schedule and conduct in-home consultations to understand client needs and vision.
• Provide coaching and support to the sales team to improve design culture and product knowledge.
• Create design concepts with finishes, furnishings and decor to match client lifestyles and budgets.
• Ensure execution of operational procedures and maintain brand standards in-store.
