Floor & Decor Designers provide a seamless start-to-finish consultative design service that builds lasting relationships and brand loyalty with our customers. They meet with clients, listen to project needs, educate on requirements, and craft design concepts that align with personal style, lifestyle, and budget.

This role emphasizes customer-focused design, strong communication, and multi-project management from inquiry to installation while collaborating with store leadership and teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year interior design or retail/sales experience is required.
• Degree in Design is a plus.
• Knowledge of hard surface flooring is a plus.
• Proficient in basic mathematical skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and support design walk-in needs.
• Schedule design appointments and develop clientele via networking, referrals, and in-store leads.
• Provide tile, wood, stone and accessories advice for residential and commercial projects.
• Design and sell complete, functional, aesthetically appealing solutions.
• Manage multiple customer projects through all phases with accurate and timely communication.
• Collaborate with store leadership and teams to manage projects from inquiry to installation.
