Job summary

Floor & Decor Designers provide a seamless start-to-finish consultative design service, building lasting relationships with customers. They meet with clients, listen to project needs, educate on requirements, and craft design concepts aligning with personal style, lifestyle, and budget.

The role requires design knowledge, client interaction, and strong organizational skills in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year interior design experience or prior retail/sales experience.
• Design degree is a plus.
• Knowledge of hard surface flooring is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet store customers and support design walk-in needs.
• Schedule design appointments and develop clientele through referrals and leads.
• Provide tile, wood, stone and accessory advice for residential and commercial projects.
• Design and sell complete, functional and aesthetically appealing solutions.
• Manage multiple projects through all phases with clear communication.
