Job summary

Crate & Barrel is seeking a Designer to help customers envision home design possibilities and build lasting designer relationships. The role combines sales with creative design, guiding customers from moodboards to floor plans and product selections.

You will use 2D/3D design tools to present options, conduct consultations, and deliver timely design projects that align with brand standards and store merchandising strategies.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of relevant experience in Furniture Sales/Home Decor Design or retail/customer service experience.
• Experience working one-on-one with clients and recommending solutions.
• Proficient in Google platforms, virtual communication, design tool experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and deliver a differentiated customer experience through in-store and in-home consultations.
• Create moodboards, floor plans, product lists, and customer presentations.
• Lead design consultations in person, via email, phone, or virtual meetings.
• Deliver projects timely and align with brand aesthetics and merchandising strategy.
• Communicate product information and design trends to customers and team.
• Build long-term relationships with customers through networking and clienteling.
