Job summary

Crate and Barrel is seeking a Designer who guides customers in furnishing spaces from full homes to accent pieces. The role blends design expertise with sales, delivering moodboards, floor plans, and client presentations on-store, in-home, and virtually.

You will translate brand aesthetics into tailored design packages while maintaining product presentation and collaboration with design teams. You will build lasting client relationships, lead design consultations, and stay current with trends

Qualifications

• 1+ years of relevant experience in Furniture Sales/Home Decor Design or retail/customer service.
• Experience working one-on-one with clients and recommending solutions.
• Proficient in Google platforms, virtual communication, design tool experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and deliver a differentiated customer experience in-store, in-home, and virtually.
• Create moodboards and 2D/3D floor plans and product lists for presentations.
• Lead design consultations in person or remotely and manage timelines.
• Understand brand aesthetics and merchandising strategy across channels (Store, E‑Commerce, Catalog).
• Develop relationships with customers through networking and clienteling.
