Job summary

Crate & Barrel Designer seeks a creative professional to help customers envision possibilities with home design trends and build long-term relationships. You will guide design packages for furnishings across a home or accents, using digital tools for in-store and in-home consultations to bring client visions to life.

The role drives sales and customer engagement, delivering moodboards, floor plans, and client presentations while collaborating with store and design teams to support business goals.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of relevant experience in Furniture Sales / Home Decor Design or retail/customer service.
• Experience working one-on-one with clients and recommending solutions.
• Proficient in Google platforms and virtual communication; design tool experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and a differentiated experience by providing enriching customer interactions and elevated design offerings in-store, in-home and virtually.
• Create moodboards, 2D & 3D floor plans, product lists and client presentations.
• Lead design consultations in person (in-store or in-home) or via email, phone and virtual.
• Deliver projects in a timely manner within determined timelines.
• Understand brand aesthetics and merchandising strategy by channel; Store, E-Commerce, Catalog.
• Stay informed with product information, care details and industry trends.
• Deliver sales, KPI and service goals, maintain productivity standards, and engage customers on the sales floor.
