Job summary

Crate & Barrel is seeking a Designer who can translate customer visions into cohesive home design solutions. You will conduct in-store and in-home consultations, create moodboards, 2D and 3D floor plans, and prepare detailed design packages for presentation.

You will drive sales, promote design programs, and maintain strong customer relationships while collaborating with store and design teams to support business goals.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of relevant experience in Furniture Sales/Home Decor Design or retail/customer service experience.
• Experience working one-on-one with clients and recommending solutions.
• Proficient in Google platforms, virtual communication, design tool experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and a differentiated experience by providing enriching customer interactions and elevated design offerings in-store, in-home, and virtually.
• Create elevated designs for customers using moodboards, 2D & 3D floor plans, product lists and customer presentations.
• Lead design consultations in person or via email, phone and virtual channels.
• Deliver projects in a timely manner within determined timelines.
• Maintain brand aesthetics and merchandising strategy by channel: Store, E‑Commerce, Catalog.
