Job summary

Ware Malcomb is seeking a Designer II to support AutoCAD and Revit for project documents, and to produce 3D renderings and client-ready drawings. The candidate will create finish plans, specifications, and material selections, while coordinating submittals during construction administration.

The role involves space planning concepts, collaborating with the design lead, and presenting design concepts to clients.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
3+ years of experience in Architecture or Interior Design.
Ability to navigate and interpret Revit models and project documentation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to present information with the design team.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently to solve problems.
Knowledge of building codes and design principles.

Responsibilities

Support AutoCAD and Revit for preparation of project documents.
Produce graphics through 3D renderings and illustrations.
Create finish plans, specifications, and material selections.
Assist with submittals during construction administration.
Develop space planning concepts and program documents.
Assist the Design lead in meetings with consultants, dealers, reps, and fabricators.
Communicate with clients, consultants, contractors, and team members.
Collaborate to meet client needs on time and budget.
Create mood boards for client presentations.
Participate in presentations to communicate design concepts.
Develop and detail design concepts and drawings.
Prepare comprehensive drawing/documentation sets.
Coordinate with MEP systems.
