Job summary

Ware Malcomb is seeking a Designer II to join our Nashville-area team. You will provide AutoCAD and Revit support, produce 3D renderings, and help create finish plans, specifications, and material selections for projects of varying scales.

You will assist the Design lead in meetings with consultants, furniture dealers, product reps, and fabricators to meet overall project objectives. The role emphasizes collaboration, client communication, and delivering high-quality drawings and documentation

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Architecture or Interior Design
• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Interior Design
• Ability to navigate and interpret Revit models and project documentation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to create complete presentation packages under supervision
• Ability to present information with design team
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently to solve problems
• Knowledge of building code

Responsibilities

• Support AutoCAD and Revit for project documents
• Produce graphics using 3D renderings and illustrations
• Create finish plans, specs, and material selections
• Assist with submittals during construction administration
• Develop space planning concepts and program documents
• Assist Design lead in meetings with consultants and fabricators
• Communicate with clients and project partners
• Collaborate to meet client needs on time and budget
• Create mood boards and graphic formatting for client presentations
• Participate in client design concept presentations
• Master design concepts development and detailing
• Deliver high-quality drawing and documentation sets
• Coordinate with MEP systems
