Job summary

Ware Malcomb in New York is seeking a Designer II to join a growth-oriented team. You will perform assignments applying standard design techniques on small and large projects, using your judgment under supervision of a licensed interior designer to support project objectives.

The role emphasizes AutoCAD and Revit support, 3D renderings, finish plans, submittals, space planning, client communications, and collaboration with consultants and vendors to meet deadlines and budgets.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in architecture or interior design.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
• Proficiency with Revit models and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support for AutoCAD and Revit on project documents.
• Produce 3D renderings and illustrations.
• Create finish plans, specifications and material selections.
• Coordinate submittals during construction administration.
• Assist in space planning concepts and program documents.
• Meet with consultants, furniture dealers, product reps, and fabricators to meet project objectives.
• Communicate with clients and project partners.
• Develop design solutions meeting client needs on time and budget.
• Prepare mood boards for client presentations.
• Present design concepts to clients.
• Develop and document design concepts.
• Coordinate with MEP systems.
