Job summary

Ware Malcomb is seeking a Designer II to support AutoCAD and Revit for project documents, create graphics and finish plans, and assist in space planning. You will collaborate with the design lead in meetings with consultants and vendors, communicate with clients, and help develop design solutions that meet project goals.

The role requires a 3+ year background in Architecture or Interior Design, a Bachelor’s degree, and proficiency in Revit, BIM 360, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
• 3+ years in Architecture or Interior Design.
• Ability to navigate Revit models and project documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to present information with supervision.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently to solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Provide AutoCAD and Revit support for preparing project documents.
• Produce graphics through 3D renderings and illustrations.
• Create finish plans, specifications, and material selections.
• Assist submittals during construction administration.
• Assist in space planning concepts and program documents.
• Support Design lead in meetings with consultants, furniture dealers, product reps, and fabricators.
• Communicate with clients, consultants, contractors, partners, and Ware Malcomb employees.
• Collaborate with team to develop design solutions meeting client needs on time and budget.
• Create mood boards and graphic formatting for client presentations.
• Participate in presentations to communicate design concepts.
• Develop and maintain high-quality drawings and documentation sets.
• Coordinate with MEP systems.
