Job summary

Five Below in Kentucky is seeking a store leader to coordinate daily operations and deliver WOW customer service. You will coach crew, manage onboarding and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Wows customers with personal contact and trains crew on the BEST service, ensuring fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates, ensuring performance and customer service.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick placement on sales floor.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, taking responsibility for store operations, staff, and urgent issues.
• Manages opening/closing procedures, including cash security, doors, and alarms.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses by optimizing merchandising and staff performance.
• Partners with store leadership on merchandising and World Recovery.
• Performs store maintenance including cleaning and stock room upkeep.
