City of Sioux Falls Health Department is seeking an Interim Patient Support Technician for Falls Community Health. This role is capped at 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, and is based in Sioux Falls.

Interim staff qualify for the City’s health insurance program. Responsibilities include greeting patients, scheduling and registering appointments, verifying eligibility, processing payments, and assisting clinical teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service at a health clinic front desk.
• Familiarity with EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, confirm, and register patients for clinic appointments.
• Verify financial eligibility and collect payments; answer billing questions.
• Coordinate access to care and arrange patient transportation as needed.
