Job summary

Interim HealthCare in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a part-time Payroll & Billing Assistant to support weekly payroll processing and patient billing. This in-office role requires meticulous attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy.

You will handle payroll activities, generate billing information, and provide management with billing reports while adhering to applicable laws and regulations. Office-based position in our Sioux Falls location.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred but not required.
• 1 year billing and payroll experience preferred but not required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and payroll/billing processes.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform weekly payroll activities, including tracking invoices, verifying shifts/visits, calculating mileage and pay, and processing payroll.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local payroll regulations.
• Generate billing information from the system and send to appropriate party.
• Provide reports on billing activities to management as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned; may access PHI as required and defined by the organization.
