Job summary

Versique Consulting & Search is seeking an Interim HR Generalist to provide full-time support across HR functions at our Bloomington, MN site. The role focuses on employee relations, HR administration, onboarding, attendance and timekeeping, and day-to-day employee inquiries, with a close partnership with leadership.

The position requires proven HR Generalist/Coordinator experience, strong communication and problem-solving skills, ability to manage multiple priorities, and familiarity with HRIS

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HR support to employees and managers.
• Assist with attendance tracking, timekeeping processes, and documentation.
• Support onboarding, records management, and HR administration.
• Respond to employee questions regarding policies, procedures, and HR programs.
• Handle first-level employee relations concerns and escalate as appropriate.
• Support HR compliance initiatives and documentation requirements.
• Partner with HR leadership on communications and workforce support.
• Maintain accurate employee data within HR systems.
• Assist with special projects and HR operational initiatives.

Job description

The Interim HR Generalist will provide full-time support across a broad range of HR functions during a period of increased team demand. This role will focus on employee relations, HR administration, attendance and timekeeping support, onboarding, compliance, and day-to-day employee inquiries. The consultant will work closely with leadership and employees to ensure HR processes run smoothly and employees receive timely support.

Worksite Location: Onsite – Bloomington, MN

Salary Range: Hourly rate between $38-$48, DOE

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day HR support to employees and managers
• Assist with attendance tracking, timekeeping processes, and employee documentation
• Support onboarding, employee records management, and HR administration
• Respond to employee questions regarding policies, procedures, and HR programs
• Handle first level employee relations concerns and elevate issues as appropriate
• Support HR compliance initiatives and documentation requirements
• Partner with HR leadership on employee communications and workforce support activities
• Maintain accurate employee data within HR systems
• Assist with special projects and HR operational initiatives as needed

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven HR Generalist or HR Coordinator experience
• Strong employee relations and employee support background
• Experience with attendance management, timekeeping, or hourly workforce environments preferred
• Knowledge of HR compliance and HR administrative processes
• Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Experience working in manufacturing, operations, or production environments is a plus
• Experience with HRIS platforms, particularly Workday, is preferred
