Job summary

PATH is hiring a Safety Support Associate in Los Angeles to join the Interim Housing team at the Silverlake location. You will help ensure a safe environment for staff, participants, and visitors, engaging with participants and providing direct client services, including harm reduction support.

This part-time, non-exempt role requires Saturday and Sunday shifts from 7:00am to 3:30pm, pays $21.71–$26.36 per hour with 24 pay periods per year, and offers PATH's competitive benefits package and

Responsibilities

• Ensure the interim housing site is safe through observation and de‑escalation.
• Coordinate with on‑site case management to support participants.
• Collaborate with contracted security to maintain site safety.
• Conduct regular site rounds and report discrepancies.
• Respond to safety or crisis events using non‑violent de‑escalation.
• Complete reports and participate in training and staff meetings.
• Support with meals and other facility needs as required.
