Job summary

PATH is hiring a Safety Support Associate in Los Angeles, CA, for a part-time role on the Interim Housing team. The position is non-exempt, Sunday and Monday 7:00am to 3:30pm, with hourly wages and 24 pay periods per year.

The role focuses on maintaining a safe site, supporting case management, and coordinating with security teams, while adhering to crisis de-escalation practices and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the interim housing site is safe for staff, participants and visitors.
• Coordinate with the onsite case management team to provide site support.
• Coordinate with contracted security agencies to ensure safety.
• Conduct regular rounds and report discrepancies or concerns.
• Draft written documentation regarding safety and site security.
• Respond to safety or crisis situations with de-escalation and team approaches.
• Assist with developing forms, procedures and manuals for safety operations.
• Complete reports as necessary or requested.
• Attend meetings and provide input on safety and support operations.
