Job summary

Many Mansions seeks a dedicated Case Manager to provide intensive, individualized support to families residing in Short-Term Housing across Ventura County. You will assess needs, coordinate services, and guide households toward stable, permanent housing while collaborating with housing navigators and partners.

The role requires strong assessment, crisis intervention, and advocacy skills, with emphasis on family-centered, trauma-informed approaches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Human Services, Child and Family Studies, or a related field.
• Two years of relevant work experience; OR four years of experience in social services, behavioral health, case management, or counseling.
• Spanish language proficiency highly preferred.
• Knowledge of Housing First, Trauma-Informed Care, Harm Reduction, Motivational Interviewing, and Strengths-Based Case Management.
• Strong assessment, service planning, crisis-intervention, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an assigned caseload of families in Short-Term Housing and provide intensive, individualized case management.
• Develop service plans with measurable goals and coordinate with Housing Navigators and partners.
• Conduct comprehensive intake, assessments, and referrals across housing, health, education, income, and transportation.
• Provide crisis intervention, de-escalation, and support to address barriers to permanent housing.
