Job summary

Tobii Dynavox seeks an Interim Funding Consultant to coordinate intake, submission, and follow-up of new product, repair, and rental orders. You will liaise with SLPs, government agencies, and schools to secure authorization and ensure documents meet payer criteria. This role emphasizes customer advocacy and timely case resolution.

The position requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, with occasional travel for team activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 2-4 years related experience.
• Background in the health insurance field preferred.
• Strong communication skills and customer-service mindset.
• Proficient with MS Word/Outlook and basic internet research.

Responsibilities

• Maintain communication with SLPs on funding cases and guide document prep.
• Coordinate with insurance providers, government agencies, and schools to place orders.
• Track funding authorization cases and ensure timely resolution.
• Verify eligibility using online resources and liaise with funding agencies.
• Review prior authorization documents against third party payer criteria.
• Enter and manage orders in the order management system.
• Advocate for clients, communicating with families about funding and co-payments.
• Address third-party denials and advise on case resolution.
• Flag potential third-party payer challenges to supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
