Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Intelligent Modeling Coordinator for transit and multimodal projects. The role involves coordinating models across architecture, vertical and transportation structures, roadway design, and MEP, ensuring federated, clash-checked deliverables.

You will lead clash resolution, enforce BIM standards, mentor staff, and develop BIM Execution Plans while interfacing with clients and agencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with vocational CADD training.
• 12 years of related experience in CADD/BIM for transit and multimodal projects.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
• Experience with BIM execution planning and model-based deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate intelligent models across architecture, structures, and MEP in Navisworks.
• Lead clash detection and resolution across disciplines.
• Establish and enforce CADD/BIM standards per design criteria.
• Mentor production staff and provide design sketches for deliverables.
• Develop BIM Execution Plans and advise on LOE and LOD.
• Interface with clients, agencies, and subconsultants on model deliverables.
