Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Intelligent Modeling Coordinator to lead cross-discipline coordination for transit and multimodal projects. You will integrate architecture, vertical structures, transit facilities, and MEP into federated, clash-checked models and ensure design integrity.

You will also drive BIM standards, guide junior staff, and coordinate with clients and agencies to meet data handoff requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with vocational training in CADD drafting and intelligent modeling.
• 12 years of related experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel domestically or internationally as required.

Responsibilities

• Cross-discipline coordination to integrate intelligent models across architecture, transportation, and MEP.
• Perform clash detection in Navisworks and oversee resolution across disciplines.
• Establish and enforce CADD/BIM standards and workflows across offices.
• Mentor production staff and provide design sketches for deliverables.
• Coordinate model deliverables and data handoffs with clients and subconsultants.
