Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a seasoned Intelligent Modeling Coordinator to lead cross-disciplinary model coordination for transit and multimodal projects. You will integrate architectural, structural, transportation, roadway, and MEP models into a federated, clash-checked deliverable throughout the project lifecycle.

You will establish BIM/CADD standards, guide junior staff, and coordinate with clients and subconsultants to meet design requirements. Domestic/international travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with vocational CADD training or equivalent.
• 12 years of related experience in CADD/BIM coordination.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate intelligent models across architecture, vertical structures, transportation structures, roadway design, and MEP to create federated, clash-checked deliverables.
• Lead clash detection and resolution across disciplines.
• Establish and enforce BIM/CADD standards, templates, and workflows.
• Mentor production staff and provide design sketches for deliverables.
• Perform crosscheck of drawings to ensure consistency with standards and layering guidelines.
• Support model health, versioning, and interoperability across Autodesk and Bentley toolsets.
