Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Intelligent Modeling Coordinator to lead cross-discipline modeling efforts for transit and multimodal projects. You will coordinate architecture, vertical and transportation structures, roadway design, and MEP into a single federated model, performing clash detection and ensuring design integrity.

Responsibilities include setting BIM standards, mentoring staff, and coordinating with clients and subconsultants.

Qualifications

• Cross-discipline coordination across architecture, structures and MEP.
• Strong knowledge of transit agency and DOT design standards.
• Proficiency with Autodesk/CADD tools and modeling software.
• Ability to mentor production staff and coordinate across geographies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate intelligent models across disciplines to a federated, clash-checked model.
• Run clash detection in Navisworks and resolve issues across teams.
• Establish and enforce CADD/BIM standards and workflows.
• Provide sketches and guidance to junior staff for design drawings.
