Job summary

CDM Smith seeks an Intelligent Modeling Coordinator to lead cross-discipline model coordination for transit and multimodal projects. You will integrate architectural, structural, roadway, and MEP models into federated, clash-checked deliverables across offices.

The role requires extensive experience with CADD/BIM, Autodesk tools, and DOT standards, with travel as needed to support multiple offices and projects.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with vocational technical training in basic CADD drafting technology and intelligent modeling.
• 12 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on duties and project demands.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate intelligent models across architecture, vertical structures, transportation structures, roadway design, and MEP for a federated, clash-checked deliverable.
• Run clash detection in Navisworks and lead resolution across disciplines.
• Establish and enforce CADD/BIM standards, templates, and workflows across offices.
• Mentor lower-level modeling personnel and guide production staff across geographies.
• Interface with clients, agencies, and subconsultants on model deliverable requirements.
