Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Intelligent Modeling Coordinator to oversee multi-discipline model coordination for transit and multimodal projects. The role involves integrating architectural, structural, transportation, roadway, and MEP models into federated, clash-checked deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.

The candidate will lead cross-discipline coordination, perform clash detection in Navisworks, enforce CADD/BIM standards, and mentor junior staff while coordinating with offices

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with vocational technical training in CADD drafting or related field.
• 12 years of related experience in CADD/BIM coordination or engineering support.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate intelligent models across architecture, vertical structures, transportation structures, roadway design, and MEP.
• Run clash detection and lead resolution across disciplines.
• Establish and enforce CADD/BIM standards and workflows.
• Mentor production staff and provide design sketches for deliverables.
• Interface with clients and subconsultants on model deliverable requirements.
