Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Experienced Intelligent Modeling Coordinator to manage cross-discipline coordination, clash detection, and standards implementation on transit and multimodal projects. You will mentor teams, ensure model integrity, and support project deliverables across offices.

Based in any US CDM Smith office, you will work with architecture, structural, roadway, and MEP disciplines to deliver federated, clash-checked models, while maintaining governance and data handoff standards for

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with vocational technical training in basic CADD drafting technology and intelligent modeling.
• 12 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Cross-discipline coordination across architecture, vertical structures, transportation structures, roadway design, and MEP into a single federated, clash-checked model.
• Run clash detection in Navisworks and resolve across disciplines.
• Establish and enforce CADD/BIM standards, templates, and workflows.
• Mentor and guide production staff across offices to build a repeatable capability.
• Act as Intelligent Modeling Coordinator for project lifecycle coordination.
• Verify model integrity and interoperability across Autodesk and Bentley toolsets.
