Job summary

CDM Smith seeks an experienced Intelligent Modeling Coordinator to lead BIM/CADD coordination on transit and multimodal projects from any US office. You will manage complex intelligent models, guide design teams, and ensure federated, clash-checked deliverables across disciplines.

Expect to establish standards, mentor staff, and coordinate with clients and agencies throughout the project lifecycle. Requires extensive CADD/BIM experience, travel readiness, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with vocational tech training in CADD drafting and modeling.
• 12 years of related experience.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Responsibilities

• Cross-discipline modeling coordination across architecture, structures, transportation, and MEP.
• Run clash detection in Navisworks and lead resolution across disciplines.
• Establish and enforce CADD/BIM standards and workflows.
• Mentor production staff and provide design sketches for deliverables.
• Develop BIM Execution Plans and advise on LOE and LOD.
• Interface with clients, agencies, and subconsultants on model deliverables.
• Perform model health checks and ensure interoperability across Autodesk and Bentley toolsets.
