Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an experienced Intelligent Modeling Coordinator for transit and multimodal projects. You will coordinate cross-disciplinary models, run clash detection, and ensure adherence to CAD/BIM standards across offices.

The role requires mentoring staff and coordinating with clients and subconsultants to meet model deliverable requirements. Ideal candidates bring 12 years of related experience, strong Autodesk fluency, and travel flexibility.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with vocational technical training in basic CADD drafting technology and intelligent modeling.
• 12 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate intelligent models across multiple disciplines into a single federated, clash-checked model.
• Run clash detection in Navisworks and lead resolution across disciplines.
• Establish and enforce CAD/BIM standards, templates and workflows across offices.
• Mentor production staff and provide design sketches for final drawings.
• Interface with clients and subconsultants on model deliverable requirements and data handoff.
