Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum 10 years of related experience.
• Professional or Architecture/Engineering registration required for technical leadership roles.
• Experience developing and managing diverse teams.
• Collaborates with other HDR leaders on business class efforts.
• Committed to HDR values and an employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide company-wide leadership of technical capabilities within the business class.
• Coordinate with related business classes, market sectors and operations.
• Lead risk management through processes and resource reviews.
• Drive quality assurance and control with the Quality Manager.
• Oversee development and application of technical tools, standards and techniques.
• Develop strategic plans with market sector directors and leadership.
• Facilitate teamwork and information sharing across offices and functions.
• Monitor direction, policies, QA, tools and staffing alignment.
• Build technical expertise and production capacity through recruiting and training.
• Support client development and project pursuits in the business class.
• Represent HDR in industry orgs and events.
