Job summary

HDR is seeking a Business Class Director to lead the Integrated Watershed Management practice, guiding technical capabilities and staff development across HDR’s service lines. The role involves strategic planning, risk management, and coordinating with market sectors and operations to deliver high-quality projects.

Travel is expected as part of client engagement and project delivery, with HDR's employee-owned culture guiding collaboration and growth.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field.
10+ years of experience in related field.
Professional registration in Architecture/Engineering.
Experience developing and managing diverse teams.
Works cooperatively with other business class directors and managers.
Committed to HDR values and employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

Provide company-wide leadership of technical capabilities within the business class.
Build close working relationships with related business classes and operations.
Lead and participate in technical risk management and quality assurance processes.
Oversee development and application of technical tools, standards and techniques.
Coordinate strategic hires within the business group.
Support client development and project pursuits through technical leadership.
Mentor technical leaders and ensure delivery of HDR's mission.
