Job summary

HDR is seeking a Business Class Director in the Integrated Watershed Management area. This role provides leadership for HDR's service lines in watershed management, water supply, groundwater and water quality, coordinating with market sectors and regions to meet client needs and manage risk.

The position involves developing strategic plans, mentoring technical leaders, and guiding planning, modeling and design services across HDR.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a professional, architecture, engineering or closely related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in related field.
Professional registration in architecture/engineering for Technical leadership roles.
Experience building and managing diverse teams.
Collaborative work with other HDR directors, managers and marketing teams.
Commitment to quality, improvement and HDR values.
Active participation in HDR's employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

Provide company-wide leadership of technical capabilities within the business class.
Coordinate with related business classes, market sectors, and operations.
Lead technical risk management through reviews and advisory services.
Drive QA/QC processes and coordinate with Quality Manager.
Oversee development and application of tools, standards, and techniques.
Develop strategic plans with market sector directors for the business class.
Foster teamwork and cross-office collaboration within HDR.
Monitor direction, policies, quality, and resources for the business class.
Support client development and project pursuits; mentor technical leaders.
