Job summary

HDR is seeking an Integrated Watershed Management Business Class Director to lead the direction, coordination, and quality of HDR’s service lines in watershed management, water supply, groundwater, and water quality.

The role builds relationships across market sectors and regions, mentors technical staff, and drives business development through technical differentiation and client engagement. Location is flexible within HDR’s U.S. footprint.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field.
At least 10 years of experience in a related field.
Professional or Architecture/Engineering registration required for technical design leadership.
Experience building and managing diverse teams.
Proven ability to collaborate with other business class directors, operations managers, and marketing managers.
Commitment to HDR values and employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

Provide company-wide leadership of technical capabilities within the business class.
Build close working relationships with related business classes, market sectors, business groups and operations.
Lead technical risk management through process and resource reviews.
Oversee development and application of technical tools, standards, and techniques to enhance service quality and efficiency.
Coordinate strategic hires within the business group.
Mentor technical leaders to support HDR's mission.
