Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a related field.
• Registered professional engineer/architect as applicable.
• Experience leading diverse, cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide company-wide leadership of technical capabilities within the business class.
• Build close working relationships with related business classes, market sectors, and operations.
• Lead technical risk management through process reviews and advisory services.
• Drive quality assurance and control processes with the Quality Manager.
• Oversee development and application of tools, standards, and techniques.
• Develop strategic plans for the business class with market sector directors.
• Facilitate teamwork and communication across offices and groups.
• Monitor direction, policies, QA, tech tools, staffing, and workloads.
• Build technical expertise and capacity via recruitment and training.
• Support client development and project pursuits.
• Represent HDR in industry organizations and publications.
• Oversee Technical Networking Groups sponsored by the business class.
• Capture lessons learned for project delivery and improvement.
• Monitor performance and assist management with corrective actions.
