Job summary

Sierra Space Corporation is seeking a Program Manager I to lead a program or IPT with responsibility for cost, schedule, and technical performance. You will oversee control accounts, apply EVMS expertise, and collaborate with engineering, finance, supply chain, and operations to ensure contractual objectives are met.

You will drive financial planning, performance analysis, and reporting while maintaining compliance with FAR/CAS and pursuing learning & development initiatives across the team.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Typically 5+ years of related experience.
• Proven record of successful program management execution.
• Certifications: PMP or equivalent.
• In-depth knowledge of EVMS, CAM, BOE, FAR, and CAS.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain control account plans in accordance with policies.
• Monitor project performance against baselines using earned value metrics.
• Prepare and analyze variance reports, identify root causes.
• Forecast project costs and schedules based on performance data.
• Collaborate with project managers and technical leads for planning and reporting.
• Lead regular status reviews with stakeholders on financial health.
• Implement corrective actions to address performance issues.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and contract requirements.
• Coordinate with CAMs to align cost, risk, schedule and performance.
