Job summary

Sierra Space is seeking a Program Manager II to lead a program, IPT, or portfolio with responsibility for cost, schedule and technical performance. You will plan, budget, and execute across engineering, finance, supply chain, and operations while guiding learning and development initiatives.

Ideal candidates have strong program management background, experience with EVMS/CAM/BOE/FAR/CAS, and a proven ability to deliver complex space programs on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, with 6+ years of related experience if Master’s degree is held.
• Senior‑level project management Certifications preferred (e.g., PMP).
• Strong knowledge of program management disciplines and cost control.
• Ability to manage a program with limited oversight and budgets.
• Experience leading reviews, interfacing with finance and reporting KPI.

Responsibilities

• Lead a program/ IPT with cost, schedule and technical accountability.
• Develop and maintain program plans, schedules and budgets.
• Communicate status, risks and issues to stakeholders regularly.
• Mentor junior managers and drive complex program strategy.
