Job summary

Sierra Space Corporation is seeking a Program Manager I to lead a program with responsibility for cost, schedule, and technical performance. The role focuses on CAM oversight, EVMS control, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver complex space programs valued under $50M.

The position requires a technical background, 5+ years of experience, PMP or equivalent, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Typically 5+ years of related experience in program management.
• PMP or equivalent certification completed or in progress.
• In-depth knowledge of EVMS, CAM, BOE, FAR, and CAS.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain control account plans per policy and contract.
• Monitor performance using earned value metrics and baselines.
• Prepare variance reports and identify root causes of deviations.
• Forecast project costs and schedules based on current performance.
• Collaborate with PMs, functional managers, and technical leads for planning and reporting.
• Lead regular status reviews with stakeholders on financial health.
• Implement corrective actions to address performance issues.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and contract requirements.
• Communicate status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
• Develop Learning & Development programs to enhance team capabilities.
