Odyssey House Inc. is seeking a full-time Intake Coordinator to join our Admissions team in Salt Lake City. The role includes client screenings, referrals coordination, and maintaining admission paperwork per agency policies.

The position offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for QA activities and team training, with a Monday–Friday schedule and some evening flexibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving history.
• 2+ years in healthcare or social services, preferably admissions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to agency policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct client screenings and provide general program information.
• Add collateral contacts and create release information according to policy.
• Coordinate referrals if client not appropriate for care.
• Create client files for new admits.
• Complete QA activities for client files and admissions paperwork.
• Communicate and train coworkers on QA issues.
• Maintain admission paperwork to comply with program needs.
• Identify and solve barriers to treatment for potential clients.
• Coordinate admission of clients with Admissions Therapist.
• Enter client funding and ensure accuracy.
• Participate in Admissions Department meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.
