Job summary

Odyssey House of Utah is seeking a Part-Time Program Assistant for our ACT Program in Salt Lake City. The role involves being the first point of contact for participants, handling in-person and phone inquiries, and providing administrative and benefits coordination support within a fast-paced environment.

The position requires strong communication and organizational skills, a valid Utah driver’s license, and willingness to support program operations across inpatient and outpatient settings.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and welcoming participants in person or by phone; assess needs and determine next steps.
• Direct calls to appropriate personnel, provide basic information about the program and referral inquiries.
• Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries.
• Schedule and manage appointments and meeting rooms.
• Provide administrative support including data entry, filing, copying and scanning documents.
• Assist with benefits coordination, including Medicaid eligibility tasks for program participants.
• Maintain reception area, prepare materials and keep equipment stocked.
• Monitor office supplies and inventory; support conflict de-escalation with the team.
